• 3:40 p.m. ISP officer wonders whether a truck driver can “bobtail” from Lewiston (use semi cab as personal vehicle in trip to Coeur d’Alene while waiting for load). Fellow officer responds that it’s legal “if the driver can convince you that’s what he’s really doing.”

• 1:59 p.m. Coeur d’Alene police are looking for 6-foot-tall, 20-24YO man in black pants & black hoodie who reportedly had a knife to a woman’s throat at Goodwill Industries, 4th & Harrison/CdA, before running off s/b in an alley b/n 4th & 5th.
