Megaload Headed This Way Sunday

A megaload shipment is expected to delay traffic on U.S. Highway 95 and Idaho’s Highway 200 starting Sunday night. The Idaho Transportation Department has issued a permit today to Bigge Crane, allowing its load on those highways between the hours of 10 p.m. and 5:30 a.m. The shipment is 21-foot wide, 311-foot long and weighs about 1 million pounds. The load will enter Idaho near Lewiston, traveling north on Highway 95 to Sandpoint, then turning east on Highway 200 to Montana. As much as possible, delays to other vehicles will be limited to 15 minutes, according to ISP, who will have personnel accompanying the shipment/ SR.
