Marc Stewart (RE: Highway 95 projects off table due to lack of funds): My family was involved in an accident on US 95 earlier this month. Thankfully nobody was injured, but it was scary for the kids. The other driver was cited for rear ending us. Its my view the freeway is at max capacity and the drivers are crazier than ever this summer. It's not just 95 that's dangerous. On the way home from the Kootenai County Fair last night, I was on Dalton waiting to cross Government Way and I saw a pickup coming fast against a red light. He didn't even slow down. He must have been doing 70 mph in front of the sheriff's building. Be careful out there.

Question: Summer driving in Coeur d'Alene isn't as bad as driving on an L.A. freeway. But it gets stressful during summer tourist season. Do you have a game plan for surviving tourist traffic without crashing?
