Police Chase Man To Airway Heights

An allegedly suicidal man led multiple police agencies on a vehicle chase this morning that began in Coeur d’Alene and ended with his arrest in Airway Heights, Wash. Coeur d’Alene, Post Falls and Idaho State police officers were joined by officers from several Washington agencies on the pursuit with speeds that ranged from 50-80 mph. The incident began around 10 a.m. at the Denny’s restaurant in Coeur d’Alene where the suspect was allegedly acting suicidal, according to Washington State Patrol officers, now the lead agency in this case. Local police responded in Coeur d’Alene and found the man had left the restaurant and stolen a black Jeep Liberty with Idaho plates from a nearby gas station/ Coeur d’Alene Press . More here.
