  • 11:02 a.m. Fire official reports grease fire at Post Falls Capones is out.
  • 11:01 a.m. Possible shoplifter has left Grocery Outlet & is walking along Fruitland Lane/Neider Ave, CdA. Store worker was told by customer that the man had stolen something. Employee saw male discard something on the ground.
  • 10:57 a.m. Employees of Post Falls Capones, 315 N. Ross Point Road, have tried unsuccessfully to extinguish a grease fire in kitchen. But the fire flares every time the frier is uncovered. Capones has been evacuated.

  • 8:17 a.m. Abandoned vehicle reported @ 1906 E. Park Lane/Post Falls.
  • 8:16 a.m. Cape Horn resident wants to know if he can retrieve his pets. He was in town when residents told to evacuate — and he hasn’t been able to get back home. Fire official asks: “How far up Cape Horn?”
  • 8:13 a.m. A silver VW Passat is disabled @ e/b I-90/MP 22 (H97).
