Four Corners project coming along

Jeff Dechenne of Clearwater Summit Group landscapers plants bushes at the northern edge of City Park as part of the Four Corners project that is transforming the entrance to historic Fort Grounds. Work crews have made significant progress on Fort Ground Drive, installing decorative street work, roundabouts, the pad for the Back to the Future Coeur d’Alene Carousel and a paved parking lot behind Memorial Field. City officials have estimated that the work will be finished this month, in time for Art on the Green. It is looking swell, down to the old-time street lights that are being installed near Memorial Field.
