Winter German Market coming to CdA

Darrell Dlouhy of Daft Badger/CdA is planning an authentic German Market at McEuen Park for the Christmas holidays next year, with mulled wine, beer, brats, music and 60-80 vendors selling their crafts. Darrell told Huckleberries this morning that he wanted to do something at McEuen Park to enliven the holidays and add to the Christmas fun in downtown Coeur d’Alene. He got the idea from attending German Markets. He has reserved McEuen Park for Dec. 5-10, 2017, for the 2nd annual Daft Badger Holiday Market. He plans to set up a 40-by-100 foot tent to protect the vendors and attendees, in case of inclement weather. Darrell will launch the Holiday Market this year at his brewery/pub on 2nd Street. The market, with 6-8 vendors, will run from noon until 5 p.m. Dec. 10-11, followed by live music outdoors for the next 3 hours.
