First Pac-12 basketball schedule unveiled

So the Pac-12 decided to release its first basketball schedule on a holiday (nice). We have Washington State’s part of it on the link so read on.

• Don’t forget, this is the 2011-12 schedule, the first with Utah and Colorado in the conference. And it is just the Pac-12 part of the schedule. Plus, who knows what will happen between now and when these games are supposed to be played. …

The conference retained the traveling partner format, though that may go out the window the next year when the new television contract comes into force. … The four schools WSU plays just once are Cal, Stanford, Utah and Colorado. … Having to travel to Boulder and Salt Lake City will now be the conference’s worst road trip. … Finishing the conference season in Los Angeles on a Saturday night could mean the Cougars (and the Huskies) may stay in LA until the start of the tournament.
