Chiefs ready for familiar foes, faces this weekend

As the headline to the notebook I wrote for Friday’s paper suggests - puck protection is paramount for the Spokane Chiefs as they head into a six-day stretch (and always, I suppose) in which they’ll play four games (two at home, two on the road). That starts Friday night at the Arena, where they’ll have a chance to work on some things that Tuesday’s loss to Seattle revealed. Here’s the link .
