— Idaho coach Paul Petrino will address the media tomorrow to talk about the school’s early JC signees. Petrino has previously said that he wants to sign 10 to 12 junior-college recruits as part of the 2014 class.

— Rehkow, a Central Valley grad, was named as a third-team All-America from the Associated Press and an honorable mention choice by SI.com. As a true freshman, he led the nation in punting average with an Idaho single-season record of 47.8 yards per kick. For a punter who kicked at least 75 times in a single season, it is the highest average ever in the FBS and it is the best average ever by a freshman for a single season.

— Rehkow and defensive end Maxx Forde were named first-team All-Independent players by CollegeSportsMadness.com. Seven other Vandals were second-team selections.
