Time and television for the Rutgers game

Washington State’s Sept. 12 game at Rutgers will kickoff at 12:30 p.m. (PT) and be televised on either ESPN2 or ESPNU.

Friday’s announcement means that game times have been set for four WSU games, with the rest to be announced either six or 12 days prior to kickoff.

ESPN2 or ESPNU to Televise WSU-Rutgers Game

PULLMAN, Wash. – Washington State’s football game at Rutgers, Saturday, Sept. 12, has been scheduled for a 12:30 p.m. PT kick and will be televised by either ESPN2 or ESPNU, it was announced Friday.

The game will mark the second meeting between the two teams, and first in New Brunswick, N.J. Rutgers captured a 41-38 victory in last year’s season-opener in Seattle.

Earlier this month, the Pac-12 picked three Cougar football games as part of the early television selections. WSU’s season opener against Portland State is scheduled for an 11 a.m. start in Martin Stadium and will be televised by the Pac-12 Networks. The Cougar’s final nonconference game, against Wyoming, is slated for a 5:30 p.m. start from Martin Stadium and will also be televised by the Pac-12 Networks.

The 2015 Apple Cup will be played Friday, Nov. 27, as the Cougars travel to Seattle to face Washington. The game will be televised by either FOX or FOX Sports 1, and will be played at 12:30 or 1 p.m. Start time and network selection will be finalized 12 days prior to the game.

All remaining television game selections and start times, starting with week four (Saturday, September 26) and running through the final week of the regular season (Saturday, November 28) will be made 12- or six-days in advance.

In addition to the games already selected, the Cougars will play road games at California, Oregon, Arizona and UCLA. The remaining home games included Oregon State, Stanford, Arizona State and Colorado.

Season tickets are on sale now to the general public and are available online at WSUCougars.com or by phone at 1-800-GO-COUGS. Tickets for Cougar road games are also on sale now and mini plans for home games go on sale June 29. Single-game tickets will go on sale Monday, August 3 at 9 a.m.
