Catholic stands with PP

I am Catholic. I am also a nurse educator and women’s health nurse practitioner, and I am a supporter of Planned Parenthood.

As the first access to care for many young people, Planned Parenthood prevents more pregnancies than anyone else in our community. Planned Parenthood educates and empowers. I refer clients to Planned Parenthood for services that I am not able to provide: pregnancy termination, yes, but more often for cancer screening and preventive services that are too expensive to access through me.

I am a woman of faith, and I stand in gratitude for and in solidarity with Planned Parenthood.
