Can you remember a favorite?
I haven’t been a regular “Prairie Home Companion” listener in decades.
In fact, I’m not even 100 percent certain it is still on the air.
But I have a theory. I think a lot of people who listened to Garrison Keillor’s radio show back in its late-‘80s heyday still recall a favorite “News From Lake Wobegon” story, even after all these years.
Mine? It’s called “Storm Home.”
Of course, that’s partly because my wife and I have recast the tale in recent years, with us playing the Kruegers and our neighbor’s cat playing the little boy.
