Special Edition: Glenn Kotche

Wilco's drummer Glenn Kotche cuts loose with his full-blown, mind-altering percussion kit. He's got plenty of colors and textures at his disposal to create a soundscape that translates more moods and images than one would expect from a solo percussionist (monkey chants?). Kotche plays in a couple of duets, including one with Wilco frontman Jeff Tweedy, in addition to Wilco. And he's currently arranging music for the prolific Kronos Quartet, further expanding his musical outlets. Much of this set features tracks from his latest album, "Mobile."
