Special Edition: Rocky Votolato

Rocky Votolato returned to Spokane to kick off a national tour on his 30th birthday with full-band backing from his brother’s group, Slender Means, for a sold-out show at The Big Dipper. Votolato played some songs solo with electric guitar, but much of the set featured Slender Means banging away to Votolato's typically quieter songs. Votolato also debuted a song from his new album, which is finished and scheduled to be released this summer (sorry, they wouldn’t let us podcast the new stuff, but it's breathtaking, trust me).
