Sommapalooza 2007: Danny Weber

Danny Weber is originally from Yakima, but he transferred to Eastern Washington University to be closer to the relatively more active scene in Spokane. He’s made a name for himself locally as a solo acoustic act, with masterful execution of live loops and clever covers of the likes of Snoop Dogg, Oasis, blink-182, Bush and Vanilla Ice. Danny Weber’s debut album is unexpected in that it’s a full-band album with prominent electric guitar texture. Weber has yet to perform with a live band, but he expects to do so at Elk Fest on June 1.
