Paint the Rainbow: Beginner’s Color Theory using Watercolor

Using primarily watercolors as the instrument of demonstration, Andi Keating helps students learn to mix whatever color they wish using limited color palettes. Discuss different common color schemes using the color wheel as an aid and show how the color wheel can be used practically when planning paintings for maximum cohesiveness. Learn why some paints in the same color family produce different results and how to hypothetically predict what a different color will do. Pre-registration is required for classes. Age 11 and older.
