Hear the People, Heal the River: Action Hour for Salmon

December 23, 2025

Healthy rivers and salmon are vital to our way of life in the Pacific Northwest, but Columbia Basin salmon are in crisis. Most wild salmon and steelhead runs persist at a fraction of their historic abundance and geographic distribution, and some (including three of five in the Snake River) persist at less than one percent of their historic abundance. Our ecosystems are at stake. Our advocacy is more important now than ever. Join us in taking collective action to protect salmon by attending Save Our wild Salmon Coalition’s monthly virtual action hours. These action hours will be an opportunity for you to hear updates from experts on issues impacting salmon recovery, ask questions, and, most importantly, get resources about how you can take action now. Fourth Tuesday of each month at 12:30-1:30 p.m. and 5:30-6:30 p.m. PST. Afternoon and evening sessions will be identical Register for Zoom session at wildsalmon.org/salmon-action-hours
