Learn the basics of crochet while making your very own String of Pearls hanging plant! Using the Car Hanging Plant Collection pattern by Samantha Meador, we’ll walk you through every step of creating this adorable, no-maintenance “plant”, perfect for your car, workspace, or home. 1-3 p.m. Class Date/Time: December 13th 1-3pm In this class, you’ll learn: How to hold your hook and yarn comfortably How to make a slip knot, chain, and single crochet How to create the “pot” base and crochet the pearl “vines” How to assemble and finish your hanging plant No experience needed, start from the very beginning and you’ll leave with a finished piece (and a brand-new hobby)! Supplies Needed: Worsted-weight yarn in plant and pot colors, size F/5 (3.75 mm) crochet hook, tapestry needle, scissors, Hanging Plant Collection pattern by Samantha Meador Length: One session (about 2 hours)
