SAGA Grant Writing Workshop

June 13, 2017 - June 13, 2017

Spokane Arts Grant Awards, known as SAGA,is offering three events to help prepare you for the Round 3, Deadline of August 1. Participants learn about the grant program, application process, and how to write an effective SAGA grant application. This is a great opportunity to get your questions answered from budgets to artistic samples. The application workshop is free, but we ask that you register in advance so that we will have enough materials and seating. Materials: Grants Glossary/ Terminology, Narrative Writing, Guidelines, Budget Example, Sample Strategic Plan, and more. If you applied for a SAGA and did not receive a grant, you are eligible to apply again. This workshop is a great way to learn what has changed on the application, and to get specific advice during the one-on-one time at the end of the workshop. What you should know about SAGA: * Round Grant Application deadline: Augusts 1, 2017 (application closes at 11:59 p.m.) * Grants may be requested up to $10,000 per application * The funding period is for one year from Sept, 2017 through Sept, 2018 The Annual Timeline, Guidelines, and FAQs may be found at www.spokanearts.org under Grants.
