“Harry Potter’s World: Renaissance Science, Magic and Medicine”
“Harry Potter’s World: Renaissance Science, Magic and Medicine,” although fantastical stories, the magic in J. K. Rowling’s Harry Potter series is partially based on Renaissance traditions that played an important role in the development of Western science. This exhibition explores Harry Potter’s world, its roots in Renaissance science, and the ethical questions that affected both the wizards of Harry Potter and historical thinkers, July 3-Aug. 12. Hours are Mondays-Thursdays, 10 a.m.-9 p.m., Fridays-Saturdays, 10 a.m.-6 p.m. and Sundays, 1-5 p.m.
