Free Movies at Mirabeau Park
Pre-movie activities for children will start an hour before movie time. Movies start at sunset. July 14: “The Secret Life of Pets,” taking place in a Manhattan apartment building, Max’s life as a favorite pet is turned upside down, when his owner brings home a sloppy mongrel named Duke. They have to put their quarrels behind when they find out that an adorable white bunny named Snowball is building an army of lost pets determined to take revenge. Rated PG. July 28: “Sing,” In a city of humanoid animals, a hustling theater impresario’s attempt to save his theater with a singing competition becomes grander than he anticipates even as its finalists’ find that their lives will never be the same. Rated PG.
