Aug. 25-26. Written by Tony Kushner (“Angels in America”), “A Bright Room Called Day” follows a group of Berliners as they navigate the Weimar Republic’s dissolution and the rise of the Nazi Party in 1932-33. The piece will be presented as a staged reading. Showtime is at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are available by visiting brownpapertickets.com. Proceeds benefit Odyssey Youth Movement, a space space for Spokane’s LGBTQ youth.
