Baha’is of the Palouse Bicentenary Events
First in the series will be a talk by Isaac Cook of Colfax and a sophomore at the University of Idaho. He will speak on “The Gate: Who was the Báb and what is His significance today?” It will begin Friday at 6 p.m., at the Whitman County Library in Colfax. The second event will be a potluck dinner Saturday, 5:30 p.m., in Pullman’s Gladish Community Center. Annie Reneau of Pullman will speak at 6 p.m. on “The Life of Baha’u’llah: A Mission of Peace.” On Sunday from 3-4:30 p.m., Baha’is will host a “Family Unity Day,” in the Great Room of Moscow’s 1912 Center. Activities are planned around crafts, games, songs and refreshments for children, youth and parents. The fourth event will be a presentation of a newly created film, “Light To The World,” Tuesday, 7 p.m. in Borah Theater, Bruce Pitman Center, Deakin St. and 6th, at the University of Idaho.
