BookPeople After School Book Clubs

Beginning in November, BookPeople will host book clubs for young readers, middle school aged kids and teen readers Tuesdays from 4-5 p.m. The clubs will include discussions and activities. Parents are welcome to attend, but not required. Nov. 7: Young Readers Book Club (first Tuesday of the month), new and classic first chapter books for children. November’s book is “Chicken Squad” by Doreen Cronin. Nov. 14: Middle Grade Readers Club (second Tuesday of the month), new and classic middle grade novels for children. November’s book is ” Bronze and Sunflower” by Cao Wenxuan, winner of the 2016 Hans Christian Andersen Award. Nov. 28: Teen Readers Book Club (fourth Tuesday of the month), new novels for young adults. November’s book is “The Gentleman’s Guide to Vice and Virtue” by Mackenzi Lee.
