Poetry Reading: Kathryn Smith
Kathryn Smith’s book is entitled “Book of Exodus.” Smith’s debut collection of poems examines wilderness, loneliness, and faith. Kathryn Smith’s poems have appeared or are forthcoming in such publications as “Mid-American Review,” “Poetry Northwest,” the “Laurel Review,” “Rock & Sling,” “The Cresset” and “Redivider.” A graduate of Whitworth’s English department (’01), Smith received her MFA in creative writing from Eastern Washington University, and her work has been recognized with a grant from the Spokane Arts Fund. Reading will take place in Eric Johnston Science Center 233-Auditorium
