“Silent Sky”
March 30-31 and April 6-7. Based on the true story of astronomer Henrietta Leavitt, a Harvard Observatory “computer” at the turn of the 20th century, the film explores a woman’s place in society during a time of immense scientific discoveries, when women’s ideas were routinely dismissed - until men claimed credit for them. Performances are 7:30 p.m. nightly with Saturday matinees at 2 p.m. March 31 matinee will be free, sponsored by the WSU College of Arts and Sciences.
