“Song of Silence: Embroidered Tapestries of Kyrgyz Nomads”
“Song of Silence: Embroidered Tapestries of Kyrgyz Nomads,” EWU student Angeline Nesbit will curate the gallery with Kyrgyzstan tapestries from Anne Marie Burk’s collection located in Spokane. They are a marker of the country’s history, the different influences on their design and the craftsmanship by the women in Kyrgyzstan who created them, Jan. 8-Feb. 9, with reception Jan. 25, 4:30-6 p.m., refreshments and hors d’oeuvres provided. Hours are Mondays-Fridays, noon-5 p.m.
