Charlotte Bisewski
Exploring the the history of her family’s forced migration through Russia in World War II, her work mixes traditional paper making, embedded electronics, hand-mixed inks, and hi-tech pigments to test how historical narratives can be told through a contemporary lens. In doing so, she has constructed a prototype book, “Trans-Siberia.”
