National Domestic Violence Action Month Events
This October, during National Domestic Violence Action Month, YWCA Spokane launches their third annual End The Silence campaign asking community members and local businesses to identify themselves as allies for victims and survivors of domestic violence. Events include: Oct. 1: Cupcakes and Champagne, Oct. 1, 5-7:30 p.m., Steam Plant, 159 S. Lincoln St. Oct. 4: Women of Achievement Awards Luncheon, 11:30 a.m., The Davenport Grand, 333 W. Spokane Falls Blvd., $125. Oct. 17 and 24: Nyne Fundraiser, 6 p.m., Nyne Bar, 232 W. Sprague Ave. Oct. 20: A Recipe for a Healthy “We,” Sweet Frostings Blissful Bakeshop, 15 S. Washington St., Free.
