Spokane Poetry Showcase

This series features a different line-up every two weeks and is sponsored by the Unitarian Universalist Church of Spokane. This week features several poets. Roger Dunsmore of Coeur d’Alene and author of “At the Chinese Wall: New and Selected Poems, 1966-2018.” Fitzis a performance poet based out of Spokane. They were a member of the 2015 and 2016 Spokane National Poetry Slam teams and represented Spokane in the 2016 Individual World Poetry Slam. Jodi Miller has roots in Montana and experience as a reporter. She is the author of a chapbook, “Say.” An all-ages event, although some adult content is to be expected. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., event begins at 7 p.m.
