Holocaust Memorial Day Screenings: “Prosecuting Evil” and “A Night at the Garden”
Two documentary screenings sponsored by the University of Idaho College of Law, the UI Department of Modern Languages and Cultures, the WSU Department of History, and the WSU Emeritus Society, in honor of Holocaust Memorial Day which is May 1. “A Night at the Garden,” is seven minutes of archival footage documenting a 1939 Nazi rally at Madison Square Garden. “Prosecuting Evil,” tells the story of Ben Ferencz, the last surviving Nuremberg Trial prosecutor, who continues to wage his lifelong crusade in the fight for law and peace. Directed by Barry Avrich. 2018. 83 minutes. Screenings available at 4 and 7 p.m.
