Mixed Media Modern Art for Kids with Hazel Miller
Each class in this series is inspired by a Modernist movement artist. Class begins with a presentation, followed by a brainstorming sketchbook session, a break, and then the main project. Students will use a variety of tools to create their own drawings, paintings, and collages. For ages 8-14. Week 1: Impressionism and More. Week 2: Cubism and Collage. Week 3: Wild Beasts and Expressionism. Week 4: Surrealism and Dreams. Week 5: Geometric Abstraction and Color Fields. April 25-May 23, Thursdays 4:30-7 p.m. Register at spokaneartschool.net.
