Beginning Bird Watching Class

Learn basics of bird watching and then take a walk at Turnbull National Wildlife Refuge to see and try to identify. Sponsored by Friends of Turnbull and Spokane Audubon Society, you will learn what to look for, how to use binoculars, and identification references. Meet in the TNWR Classroom at 8:45 a.m. and be prepared to walk for 1.5 hours on the Refuge. Families with children older than 8 are welcome. Class is free; $3 per car entrance to Refuge.
