Featuring special guest the Rev. Tatsuya Aoki, Bishop ofJodo Shinshu Buddhist Temples of Canada. This holiday is among the most important holidays observed in the Jodo Shinshu tradition. In the word hōonkō; ‘hōon’ means “return of gratitude” and ‘ko’ means “to clarify the meaning of” or “gathering.”
