Harnois, 62, has served as the mayor of Rockford for the last four years and previously served on the council for 12 years. She works as a planner for the City of Spokane Valley and has served on numerous boards and committees. During the debate over the Sheriff’s contract she pushed to continueit, pointing to the state law that requires some sort of law enforcement. Her goal if re-elected is to promote economic development and acquire funding to pay for needed infrastructure improvements.
