Education: Graduated from Clearwater Valley High School in Kooskia, Idaho, in 1996. Earned bachelor’s degree in chemistry from the University of Idaho in 2001 and a bachelor’s degree in Spanish from the University of Idaho in 2002.
Work experience: Worked as a research chemist at Washington State University and has held several paid and volunteer positions with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Most recently was a personal trainer at Peak Fitness.
