City: Chattaroy, Washington

Education: Graduated from Borah High School in Boise. Went on to earn a bachelor’s of science in nursing from University of Utah, a nurse practitioner master’s degree from the University of Colorado to become a nurse practitioner, and then a Ph.D. in nursing from Oregon Health and Science University.

Work experience: Taught in the Gonzaga University nurse practitioner program. Worked as a primary care nurse practitioner for around 30 years. Currently retired, but looking into part-time work in nurse practitioning or teaching.

Political experience: Appointed to Elk Cemetery Commission a few months ago to fill a vacancy.

Family: Married to Jennifer Templeton. Has three children.

Campaign finance: None.
