The Idaho Vandals hurt themselves with turnovers and sacks as the Nebraska Cornhuskers took a 38-17 victory in Lincoln, Neb.
LINCOLN, Neb. – It wasn’t the homecoming University of Idaho quarterback Nathan Enderle envisioned. Enderle threw five interceptions, two which were returned for touchdowns, as the Nebraska Cornhuskers topped the Vandals 38-17 Saturday afternoon before 85,732 – the 306th consecutive sellout crowd at Memorial Stadium.
Taylor Martinez ran for 157 yards and two touchdowns and Roy Helu Jr. had 107 yards and a TD, but the Huskers (2-0) committed four turnovers and had 10 penalties for 123 yards.
