ALTERNATE CROP TO DEL102 - Indian yoga guru Baba Ramdev displays how much weight he has lost as he performs yoga with his followers at his ashram in Haridwar, India, Tuesday, June 7, 2011. The television star and yoga guru leading tens of thousands of people protesting Indian corruption said he resumed a hunger strike Monday in the northern Hindu pilgrimage city after police ousted him from the capital. Baba Ramdev, along with tens of thousands of supporters, had earlier began fasting Saturday in a massive tent camp in New Delhi, despite reaching an 11th-hour agreement with the government on his demands to battle graft.

Oriskany Falls fire police block access to Knoxboro Road on Tuesday, June 7, 2011 in Knoxboro, N.Y. A sheriff's deputy was fatally shot during the gun battle at the end of a six-hour standoff. Deputy Kurt Wyman, 24, died after being rushed to a Utica hospital following the shootout, according to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol. The four-year veteran was shot once with a shotgun by 40-year-old Christian Patterson as officers tried to take him into custody. The sheriff said three other offices returned fire and hit Patterson several times. Patterson was in critical condition at the same hospital and will be charged with aggravated murder, authorities said.
