'My very best friend"
David and Janet Hicks were married in July 1956. They raised three children while pursuing higher education and careers in education. “I consider my wife my very best friend, ever,” David Hicks said recently. Janet Hicks, a lifelong nonsmoker, died of lung cancer on Tuesday, March 31, 2020.
