When Julie Markquart opened Hammer & Stain, a do-it-yourself workshop where supplies and instructions are provided to create a personalized home decor piece, last fall, she knew launching a business would be challenging. But no one could have predicted just how challenging due to the stay-home orders caused by COVID19.
