An STA bus succcessfully avoided a collision with a parked car and remained blocking the right lane on Monroe near W. Sprague while an STA vehicle redirected traffic via emergency lights, for several minutes on Feb. 4, 2020, in downtown Spokane. Subfreezing temperatures prevented the accumulated snow from melting on the roadwaysand it became solid ice.
