Silver Mountain avalanche
Rescue patrols resumed searching avalanche fields Wednesday at Silver Mountain after another skier was reported missing. A family member of a skier called the resort at about 7:30 a.m. to report that they had been unable to make contact, Silver Mountain posted on its Facebook page. The person was confirmed to be skiing at Silver during the time of the avalanche that killed two and injured five Tuesday morning.
