Cheney Care Community sew face masks
Facing a shortage of face masks, a Cheney facility with skilled-care and assisted-living services has asked nearby residents to sew home-made versions of the protective gear. The sewn masks will be used at Cheney Care Community by all residents and staff on campus, said Keith Fauerso, Cheney Care Community executive director. “We got 30 today and they’ll try to have another 70 by Monday,” he said.
