Atlas Elementary educator parade for students
The coronavirus pandemic may have shuttered area schools, but teachers and staff at Atlas Elementary School in the Coeur d' Alene School District haven't forgotten their students. The educators organized a car parade around Hayden, Idaho to see as many of their students as possible on Wednesday, and were greeted by a great deal of excited young faces who stood out in the light snow with their families for the brief visit.

Penny Melison, age 3, couldn't contain her excitement when hearing the honking horns from the parade of teachers and staff from Atlas Elementary School as it comes down her street on Wednesday, March 25 in Hayden, Idaho. Though Penny was too young to attend Atlas Elementary, Melison's older brother Mason Melison came out to see his teachers in the parade which wound through nearby neighborhoods to see students, many of whom were waiting at the end of their driveways with signs and smiles.
