Memorial Day at Spokane-area cemeteries

Locals gathered for a flag cruise through a circuit of cemeteries for Memorial Day on Monday, May 25.

"Zittella was one of the most important people in getting women the vote in Washington state," Shuman said, and further explained that Fasset was a close colleague to May Arkwright Hutton, one of Spokane's most well-known suffragists.
