Birds of Prey Northwest eagle release
Rehabilitation specialist Janie Veltkamp released Journey, a juvenile female bald eagle, Friday, July 16, 2021. The eagle was found during the recent heatwave and was unable to return to the nest and was taken in by Veltkamp, operator of Birds of Prey Northwest, and allowed to recuperate, then released in the same area where it was found.
