Trisha Thorman, a nurse and firefighter’s wife, shows her respects with about three-dozen other citizens, firefighters, and EMS who lined the Ray Street overpass as an emergency vehicle procession escorting bodies of Coeur d’Alene firefighters passed by on I-90 Sunday evening. The firefighters were shot and killed in an “ambush-style" attack at the popular Canfield Mountain recreation area Sunday afternoon. Their final stop was the Spokane County Medical Examiner's Office.
