Liberty Building (Mike Prager)

Literate dining

The 1908 Liberty Building at 203 N. Washington was originally a cash-and-carry department store and later housed Liberty Furniture. Today it holds the locally owned Auntie’s Bookstore on the main floor and mezzanine, which overlooks the stacks of books. In the southwest corner at street level is Sante, one of the most creative, chef-inspired restaurants in the Inland Northwest.
